Testing Out the New Iron Man Toys
The good folks at Gizmodo tested out a bunch of new Iron Man toys tied to the upcoming film. The biggest complaint? The Iron Man toys are…plastic. Check out their full review here to see what’s up to snuff.

TMNT as Star Trek
Do you guys remember these figures? Better yet, anyone have them? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was one of the first things that got me into comics when I was a kid, and despite the total switch in tone, I was also a huge fan of the cartoon and toys. I was a kid, give me a break. I still have all my original action figures at home somewhere. My Splinter figure is missing a hand, and I think Raphael’s head fell off, but hey, that just makes it more interesting when you play with them.

Transformers ipod Speaker Dock
Check out the new Optimus Prime ipod speaker dock. Plug in your ipod and set the blasters to blast. The Transformers timing couldn’t be more off, but hey, it’s an all-white Optimus Prime, which is kind of neat. My only question is: Does it make the cool Tranformers sound when you connect?

Star Wars Fozzie — Lucas/Disney/Muppet Toy Collab
There’s a great toy line expected to debut this summer that features a cool collab between George Lucas characters (Star Wars and Indiana Jones) and Disney/Muppets characters. Above is Fozzie Bear as Chewbacca. Others include Goofy as Jar Jar Binks (sigh.) and Mickey as Indiana Jones as well as the whole motley muppet crew. EndorExpress has exclusive photos of all the sets. I’m not a typically not a toy guy but I’m going to have to consider getting some of these. Check it! Wakka Wakka Wakka!

Batman Toy Recall
Mega toy manufacturer Mattel has issued a massive recall — their second in a month. This one is for 9 million toys sold in the US because of lead paint and potential magnet choking concerns. There are 63 toys being recalled in total — including 4 Batman toys.

DC Comics patented Batman and his wonderful toys
Back in the mid ’90s when Joel Schumacher was busy screwing up the Batman film franchise, he was also able to get a credit in a few patents issued to DC Comics. Here are four Batman-related patents issued to DC that relate to Batman’s head dress, boat, vehicle and his set of rear fins for his vehicle.
